Flow to Restore Session
Theme : Optimal Breathing
The stresses of the modern day, plus many misleading cues in both the fitness and yoga world such as “engage your core” and “draw up through the pelvic floor”, has left most us us moving far away from our optimal breathing pattern. This is sending many of us into a stress response.
Join me for this breath focused practice with a short lecture on the physiology of breathing at the beginning of the session. We move through an easy going flow where there is an opportunity to recognise your own less than optimal breathing strategies that you’ve developed, and an opportunity to move back to your optimal diaphragmatic breathing.
This is a yoga flow that session ends with a restorative practice, so please prepare cushions, pillows, bolsters, blankets etc.
